JJ introduces

Even as Oysterband launched the Long Long Goodbye tour, I knew I did not want to stop at the end of August. I love singing, performing and contact with everyone - and my voice still feels strong.

I had this vision of a stripped-down version of the band. Ray and Al were, for me, the obvious choices. They are both great musicians and strong characters - and good people to have around on tour. With just the three of us, the songs come alive in a different way.

With my own songs, together with Oyster songs I have co-written, some of which the band rarely performed live, with Ray Cooper songs and songs from the Tradition, we have a rich supply of material. I know the harmonies from the three of us will be a strong feature.
